Three Influenster VoxBox Unboxings!

Over the summer I received three VoxBoxes from Influenster. If you are unfamiliar with the Influenster program, I definitely recommend checking them out! By participating in short surveys and linking your social media, you are included in brand campaigns where small packages of complementary products are sent to you to test and review!

I have been a part of Influenster for a few years and my very first post on this blog (aside from an introductory one) was actually reviewing my first ever VoxBox!

The program has definitely come a long way and now is even more streamlined with their new(-ish) app. I have only received beauty products, but I have also seen people receive VoxBoxes for food, cleaning, and baby care! It’s completely free and I have received some pretty great products that I use in my everyday life through Influenster. For more information, you can check them out HERE!

As I mentioned, I received three VoxBoxes from June-August of this year and as I was away for the summer, ended up unboxing them all at once! The video below shows me unboxing the products themselves and at the bottom of this post I have linked all the individual products!

Shiseido sent some products focusing on their suncare line! I wish I had these when I was in the southern USA but will test them out during the remainder of the summer!

Kat Von D Beauty:

After discontinuing the original fragrance collection, KVD Beauty has re-released Saint and Sinner. They are described as sharing the same “floral soul” but with Saint being the lighter, sweeter of the two and Sinner being bolder and spicy.  Described as “sister scents” they can be worn individually or together, as I personally like them best!

  • Saint Eau de Parfum: Described as being soft, alluring and dreamy. The fragrance is built from jasmine and tiara flower and contains mandarin, caramel, and Mirabelle plum notes. The most notable scents are those of vanilla, sandalwood, musk.
  • Sinner Eau de Parfum: The nighttime alter-ego to Saint, Sinner starts with the same jasmine fragrance but combines that with orange blossom. The notes are vanilla, mandarin, and Mirabelle plum but differing from Saint is the cinnamon, vetiver, patchouli, and wood that gives the perfume it’s deeper, bolder vibe.

Bite Beauty:

On the Sephora product page, Bite describes the Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick as “an innovative, liquified lipstick that takes liquid lip looks to the next level, with indulgently creamy wear, precise application, and high-pigment color with a satiny finish”.

Included in the VoxBox were three colours from this new line:

  • Éclair is described as a “soft rose”.
  • Flambé, which Bite calls a “vivid poppy”.
  • Demi Glace, a “chocolate mauve” colour.

Bite also included their Line & Define Lip Primer, which I also have in a smaller size from a holiday set I purchased a couple years ago. I do like the product itself but it’s not great for chapped lips so I recommend using a lip scrub and some kind of light lip moisturizer before applying it.

I tested all three liquified lipsticks and found they were much easier to apply than traditional matte liquid lipsticks. With the exception of Demi Glace, the application was foolproof, with the ease of application similar to a brand new normal bullet lipstick. I did find Demi Glace, the darkest colour, to be a bit trickier than the other two but it was also the colour I tested without the lip primer, so take that as you will. The colour payoff is great, super opaque and vibrant even though the application and feel is that of a very creamy gloss. The one downside was that the product doesn’t have great longevity and is in no way transfer-proof. Despite that, it is very comfortable, doesn’t emphasize dry patches on the lips and has beautiful packaging. Bite is my favourite lip product brand and I’m glad to have these to add to my collection.

I received these products complementary for the purpose of testing and review courtesy of Influenster. If you’re interested in participating in future VoxBox campaigns, be sure to check them out!

Thanks so much for reading this post! I hope you have a great day 🙂
