Q&As are a type of video that many people post on YouTube, often regularly, and are a great way to get to know someone beyond the typical content they may post. Seeking questions often happens via Twitter or Instagram, even Snapchat becoming more and more popular as a way for influencers to announce an upcoming Q&A and seek questions for them to, you know, answer.
While I’ve always wanted to do one, part of me has always been a little terrified that I wouldn’t get any questions and would just have to awkwardly pretend I had never asked. It happens on Tumblr quite a bit with “ask games”, so I never took the plunge.
#236: “Ask me anything” (Ask your readers to submit questions for you to answer).
Funny how things work, hey? Having that as one of the potential blog post topics gave me the extra shove to get over that nagging fear of not getting any questions and just go for it! So… here it is!
If you have any questions for me, whether they be regarding things you see me post about or the stuff you don’t see… bring it on!
The next prompt in the book is, of course, to answer the questions and although I’ll be posting the video on YouTube, depending on how many come in I’ll ‘A’ some ‘Qs’ exclusively on here too!
If you have a question for me, feel free to send it my way in whatever method you are most comfortable with. Although I can’t guarantee carrier pigeons or message-in-a-bottles will be received quite as promptly, here are some ways that might be a bit more reliable and convenient:
- In the comments of this blog post.
- Tweet me!
- On Instagram, either in the comments of a picture (points for creativity/ relevance to the question haha) or through direct messaging.
- On Tumblr. If you are shy and wish to remain anonymous, there is a function for that also.
- In the comments of the above YouTube video.
There have been times where I would have liked to participate in the Q&As of others but either didn’t see the “call for submissions” on Twitter/ whatever other social media they use or didn’t feel comfortable using that method, so hopefully having multiple options helps you feel more comfortable should you wish to participate. Thanks in advance! 🙂
Thanks so much for checking out this post and I can’t wait to read your questions! 🙂
PS: Is ‘Q&Adrianna’ too cheesy? How about ‘Q&Eh’? I’m pondering the possibilities!
